SEED Events is committed to protecting the privacy of all personal data you provide us for this event registration.

The following statements describe what we are doing with the data we collect and how long we store it so you are fully informed prior to you submitting the personal information for event registration.

Once your registration is submitted, you have the right to:
- ask us about the personal data at any time
- withdraw consent for the use of personal data collected at any time
- request that we forget (anonymise) the personal data collected.

Below identifies the person who is managing the data for the event, should you have any questions about what is collected please contact them.

Why are we processing your personal data?

We ask for personal data to facilitate registration for this event.

Distribution of Data

The following statements describe what we are doing with the data we collect and how long we store it. This is to ensure you are fully informed prior to you submitting the personal information for event registration.

• Ivvy Events Management – The secure server where our data is housed and authorised ecommerce provider
• Venues and event suppliers as applicable

All data is shared with suppliers under strict confidentiality agreements which limit the use of the information to the purposes for which it is supplied, and require them to comply with the Privacy Acts in both Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

How long will we store your personal data?

We request that our service providers permanently delete any data provided to them within 60 days of the conclusion of the event.

For financial and tax reasons we will need to keep a record of the data for up to 24 months after the conclusion of the event, after which it will be permanently deleted.

Personal data about your accompanying persons:
By accepting consent below, you have authorised the use of any accompanying person/s personal data for the purpose of this event. Please note that you must be over the age of 18 to accept consent for another person.

The right to inquire about your personal data:
You retain the right to ask us about your personal data at any time. Please contact our data management person (above) with any inquiries you may have.

The right to withdraw your consent:
You retain the right to withdraw consent for the use of your personal data at any time. Please contact our data management person (above) with any inquiries you may have.
Please be aware that a withdrawal of consent before the start of the event will be treated as a cancellation and will incur full event cancellation fees, as noted in the event Cancellation Terms.

The right to forget or anonymise your personal details:
You retain the right to request that we forget or anonymise personal data. If you have attended any event with us and request after the event to be forgotten, we will retain any financial, tax or event attendance records for reporting, but will remove all personal data from our database, leaving an “anonymised” record for reporting reasons. All Records will be deleted 24 months after the conclusion of the event.
